Jose Valerio, MD, FAANS, FACS is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who is Associate Director of the Miami Neuroscience Center at Larkin Hospitals and Director of the Brain Tumor Program at Palmetto General Hospital. He also holds the position of Professor of Surgery (Neurosurgery) at the NOVA University for Resident programs at Larkin and Palmetto Hospital in Miami and part owner of the Biscayne outpatient Surgical Center at Hollywood Florida,

In addition to his active neurosurgery and radiosurgery private practice, using Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, Edge Radiosurgery and Cyber Knife Radiosurgery, and surgical management of minimal invasive techniques in Brain tumor and spine surgery.
Dr. Valerio has been involved in the development of multiples brain tumor and spine treatments: Including Brain path , Neuroblate, OPTUNE, Synaptive
He has multiples award and grant which included ABTA AANS/CNS AWARD, Mussella Foundation Grant , NIH Grant metabolic targeting in brain tumors.
Dr. Valerio is the actual Vice-president of the Neurosurgical Oncology Chapter of the FLANC and Elected President After CLAN in Cancun Mexico.
He is part of The Executive Committee of the tumor section of the AANS/CNS,
Also Part of the Executive Committee of the Mexican Neurosurgery Society
Member of the AANS, CNS, WFNS, EANS, FLANC, SNO, SNOLA, ACS
